"The game just started and is about to get bloody" is a sentence that would probably be on the lips of most Ghanaian music lovers.
They less than a week old beef between Zylofon Music signee, Obibini real name David Kwaku Effum Boafo, and Mic Burners act, Amerado known in real life as Derrick Sarfo Kantanka, has taken a twist as the former has released his second diss freestyle. He titles this one "Carcass" and it comes a few hours after Amerado responded to his first diss titled "Deceased" yesterday.
In "Carcass" produced by Seven Snares, Obibini talked about the fact that age doesn't matter when it comes to beefing and so he would have no mercy but go ahead and bully Amerado. He also called his opponent a slave and advised him to work harder in order for him to also get a big car like his. You need to feed your earbuds with this great piece of creativity for more.
This whole beef started after a video of the 26 year-old rapper delivering a hot and fantastic freestyle at Tim Westwood's camp in London went viral. Interestingly, the freestyle which was aimed at promoting Ghana music and acts in the Ghanaian music industry had a controversial line which sparked the whole brouhaha. Some Ghanaians felt that line was a shot to Obibini, the "Ahye Me" hitmaker unhappily replied, the Kumerican rapper came back to react to the reply, diss tracks started dropping and here we are today.
Some people are of the view that beefs in the music industry are good for the culture while others believe otherwise: it brings about division and impedes the growth of industries. What do you also think? Share with us.
